Due to a forthcoming retirement (in 2 years’ time) of one of our senior employees who has been with Benfid for the past 35 years, we are searching for an experienced (junior) compliance officer who is capable of dealing with all the challenges today’s working environment is offering, including the various compliance, reporting, AML and regulatory tasks a corporate Trust office has to deal with in the current environment.

Job description

• You like multi-disciplinary work in a challenging ever changing business environment
• You can deal with corporate registrars, their requirements and reporting duties
• You bring some experience with you and are driven by strong testing and reviewing capacities with a skilled eye for numbers and reportable data
• You prepare and upload reportable accounts under CRS and FATCA
• You are familiar with general office, administration and correspondence tasks, such as drafting resolutions, minutes and any supporting documentation and keeping bank account files and records up to date
• You prepare and attend to the annual recuring AML and FINIG audit of the company.

Requirements

• Experience in the trust/banking industry with a commercial apprenticeship background
• Experience in Trustee’s & Director’s duties of care and required reporting obligations
• AML / Compliance or STEP certificate is expected / can be completed during employment
• Willingness to grow on the job and to take over a senior role/management role of the company and its compliance in the future
• Excellent German and English skills in an English based working environment together with a practical “Swiss can-do” mindset.
